Sales grew steadily through the use of full page advertisements in Seventeen, Mademoiselle, Life and Charm magazines, as well as the use of live television commercials The Kaufmann's also produced theToni ToddandLady Lauralines. The company was sold to Russ Togs in 1969. In 1988 the Kaufmann family bought the firm back from Russ Togs and continued operations into the 1990s when it was sold to Global Clothing, Inc.
